EXPANDS DISTRIBUTION OF HITACHI TOOLING
WITH PRECISION TOOLS SERVICE, INC.
Schaumburg, IL – Vega Tool Corporation (VTC) has announced the addition of a new distribution channel with Precision Tools Service, Inc. PTS is among an exclusive group of technology driven distributors to represent the rapidly emerging line of Hitachi highly engineered tooling.
PTS is a major source of tooling for leading automotive manufacturers, including AISIN. The addition of Hitachi products will further establish PTS as a top supplier of superior tooling.
The Hitachi product line responds to manufacturing's demand for highly efficient production and unmanned operation. VTC's Hitachi line includes indexable insertable tooling and solid carbide tooling. Indexable insertable tooling is designed for the high-feed machining of hardened materials. This line removes two to three times more cubic inches of metal per minute than the competition. Hitachi solid carbide tooling features a patented coating technology with accuracies and geometries designed to run faster and last four to five times longer than competitor versions. Along with automotive, other industries that can benefit from Hitachi tooling and technology include mold & die, aerospace, medical and oil patch industries.
PTS's AISIN distribution is an important niche within Midwestern and Southern portions of the United States, as well as Canada.
